The electric vehicle charging industry is in its infancy, with most network operators being less than a decade old.

The idea behind our company emerged from recognising a clear gap in the market. The dominant concession model — where the operator funds the entire installation in exchange for a long sub‑lease — simply doesn’t serve every site owner.

These agreements are typical in early‑stage industries, where networks race to secure strategic locations before the market matures. But they leave no room for businesses that don’t want to hand over control of their property for a decade or more.

We saw that this customer was being ignored. No operator was offering a model that empowers site owners to provide EV charging on their own terms, with the right level of support rather than a full concession takeover.
